For a private residence at Lake Garda, a pool was designed to harmoniously blend into the surrounding landscape while impressing with subtle, refined details. The choice fell on sand-colored natural stone from Trani, used both for the pool’s edging and the generously built masonry seating area. The natural hue not only creates a calm, elegant atmosphere but also offers functional benefits: the stone reflects heat, keeping the surface pleasantly cool even on hot days.

Custom-made cushions and seat pads were designed to seamlessly integrate with the overall aesthetic. In striking contrast to this serene base is the vibrant environment: green olive trees, red and green parasols, and the shimmering turquoise water create a Mediterranean palette full of lightness and depth.

Special attention was given to the design’s restraint: the pool was intended to visually blend discreetly into the landscape, so as not to overpower the centuries-old olive trees and the rustic building behind them, but rather to form a harmonious unity. The installation fits quietly and respectfully into its context — without excessive design emphasis, but with great sensitivity.

The technical elements were elegantly solved as well: the space for the automatic pool cover is cleverly concealed behind a steel enclosure clad with the same Trani stone, making it nearly invisible. This keeps the overall impression clear, high-quality, and undisturbed.

A pool designed not only for swimming but for lingering, enjoying, and admiring — understated, timeless, and deeply rooted in its surroundings.
