As part of the renovation of the offices at Walcher Messebau — a company specializing in creative and functional trade fair and exhibition design — functional needs were combined with a clear design concept. The result is a modern workspace that reflects the company’s values and identity through architecture.
The executive office on the second floor was redesigned and expanded to include a fully integrated meeting room. This space serves both as the managing director’s office and as a venue for meetings and confidential discussions.
The reception area features a newly designed counter: green-lacquered polycarbonate panels form the cladding, while a backlit logo creates a striking visual element.
A central highlight on the first floor is the new kitchen and lounge area, which presents the company’s brand color green in a modern and appealing way. Combined with metallic surfaces, it creates an open and welcoming atmosphere.
Existing elements were carefully preserved and further developed. For example, the stairwell doors were wrapped in graphic film to visually link old and new. A wall installation with photos, texts, and graphics tells the story of the family business — from its early beginnings to the present day.
